⛪️ I am hosting a Dementia-Friendly Coffee Concert in Buxton Methodist Church on Thursday 3rd November at 11am.

(Entrance via Chapel Street, and completely wheelchair accessible)

🎶 There will be songs for every taste including…Vera Lynn, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Buddy Holly, Calamity Jane, Show Boat, Billy Fury, Perry Como, ABBA, and John Rutter.

🧁 The concert will be a relaxed and informal café set-up with tea, coffee, and lots of homemade cakes!

😌 It is completely free to attend, with donations grafefully received towards the running of the event. No booking is required.

🧠 Singing releases the mind from the tensions and anxieties that come with having dementia… It is truly powerful and magical!

👥 If you or a loved one has dementia (or even if you don’t!) do come along for some wonderful music, delicious cakes, and a friendly atmosphere
